Bio
Diamond Z, also known as The U Digsta, has been writing and rhyming since the 90's. Growing up in the Cabrini Green housing projects of Chicago, his lyrics often reflect the struggle of that life, and the triumph of overcoming it.
"I want to show the youth in the streets that there's a better way, that I've been where they're at, and that there's no light at the end of that tunnel. I want to show them music doesn't have to be all about cars, money, clothes, drugs and girls - and neither does life." - Diamond Z
Melodic instrument tracks, his unique vocal tonality, and the deep, story-like messages in his songs spearhead a brand of music he has coined as "The Positive Music Movement."
