Super hot number featuring Voice Musiq. Sadly, The U Digsta lost his sister on Sunday Morning Sept. 30, 2018. About 10 months after her death, Diamond Z wrote this song dedicated in her memory. Super producer GB reached out to one of his colleagues and fellow Super producer Uzo Tha Producer and grabbed this track. Diamond Z went in the lab and 2 hours later he was introducing this song to the team. With a few tweaks to the hook and an added melody or two as he elegantly sang and recorded the chorus, Diamond Z credits Voice Musiq for bringing his words to life.

Lyrics

Sunday Morning
written by Marcus Zeigler
performed by Diamond Z The U Digsta
and Voice Musiq

(Chorus)
Early Sunday morning I, got the call that you had gone bye bye bye
I cried, I almost died inside
trying to my way, back to living life

(Verse 1)
On the third day He arose from the dead,
But what about her is it true what I read.
Confessions of the sins, believing in Christ,
will give you some peace in the after life (uhn) (Bridge 1)
A letter to my sister I miss ya, I Love ya
Wishing I could see ya, wishing I could hug ya
The time that we shared, short as it was
We had a unique sister and brotherly love
The bond that we shared we aint give no fuck
Rather right or wrong we gon back each other up
Mama always said blood over everthang
And everybody listened, to Mama Charmaine
(Bridge 2)
Cause Mama knew about the game and the unspoken rule
Like sometime's you just gotta smoke dem fools
Like remember when you stayed on 3 in 29
Yeah I'm going back to remember the time
Like remember the time on the field behind the Billin (building)
Party try to fight you and I was about to kill him
I'm glad that I didnt, I'm glad I held out
Instead we made a memory to live and tell about
(Chorus)
Early Sunday morning I, got the call that you had gone bye bye bye
I cried, I almost died inside
trying to my way, back to living life
(Verse 2)
March 4th will not be a day that we mourn
Instead we'll celebrate the day that you were born
Instead we'll celebrate the fact that you were here
The good times we had, the things we held dear
Our common denominator, the way that our Mama raised us
Things our Mama gave us, never would separate us
Now that we're separated, my life has been devastated
Although its a done deal, its still seems unreal
The spirit of death it swept and took your last breath
But something you left, something we kept yep
All the wild times, and all the memories
I was there, and still find it hard to believe
At our fork in the road, where our paths divide
But our sibling bond will forever abide
You know the deal, we all got that Dixon pride
We show, but never say I apologize. Sing
Early Sunday morning I, got the call that you had gone bye bye bye
I cried, I almost died inside
trying to my way, back to living life
Early Sunday morning I, got the call that you had gone bye bye bye
I cried, I almost died inside
trying to my way, back to living life
